Account deletion

How to remove your Berg account and household data.

Use this page if you want to understand how Berg account deletion works, what happens inside shared households, and where to get help if the in-app flow is blocked.

Current app behavior

Self-service deletion is available in the app.

Immediate self-service deletion is available for accounts that have not completed setup, single-member households, and multi-member households. If you are the last admin in a household, the app asks you to choose a successor before deletion completes.

Delete in the app

Use the built-in deletion flow

  1. Open Berg App.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose the delete account option.
  4. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.
If you are the last admin

Choose a successor before deleting

Berg keeps shared household access intact by asking the last remaining admin to choose another household member as the successor admin. If the flow is blocked or you need help, contact support.

What gets deleted

If the account being deleted is the only member in a household, the associated household data is deleted with that account as part of the deletion workflow.

What may be retained

Berg App may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcing agreements.
